DESIGN
The coin’s reverse depicts a representation of a baby goat surrounded by snowflakes, standing on its hind legs while using its front legs to look through a sack of gifts. The Chinese character for ‘goat’, the inscription ‘Year of the Goat’, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, and the year-date are also incorporated into the design.
The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
